This fully-funded online education is a one-stop-shop of resources, tools, and up-to-date information to support antenatal clinicians in their critical role of risk assessing, screening, treating and follow up of syphilis during pregnancy. This episode is part of a greater education package called "Antenatal Sexual health Kit". We explore practical ways of approaching these questions with your client either alone or with their partner present, and we discuss tools to use to assess safety risks and communication strategies to adopt when your client has English as a second language. This episode focuses on sexual health history assessments and why it is so important to conduct them regularly throughout a client's pregnancy.
